Mason Greenwood arrested for breaching bail conditions
Mason Greenwood has been arrested for allegedly breaching his bail conditions.
The Manchester United striker was arrested in January on suspicion of rape and assault. He was also questioned on suspicion of uttering death threats.
Greenwood was suspended from playing or training with United shortly after the allegations emerged on social media.
The England international was subsequently released on bail, which was extended in April and then again in June.
Stats Perform understands Greenwood was arrested at his home in Bowdon, Greater Manchester, following an alleged breach of his bail conditions.
In a statement provided to Stats Perform, Greater Manchester Police said they were "aware of an allegation about a 21-year-old man breaching his bail conditions and an arrest has been made. was performed on Saturday, October 15, 2022".
The statement concluded: "Investigations are ongoing at this time."
