Matteo Berrettini launches Boss x A Pasta Bar collaboration in New York ahead of US Open

A few days before the US Open, Italian professional tennis player Matteo Berrettini was off the court and in the kitchen.

The Boss Ambassador visited SoHo on Friday night, where he hosted a dinner with Hugo Boss and A Andrea Pedrazzoli and Simone Tiligna, owners of the pasta bar. At one point during the evening, the tennis player even ventured into the kitchen to serve pasta. Guests included Stephan Born of Boss, Ciaran McInerney and Josh Benedek, as well as Berrettini's father, Luca Berrettini.

The Italian restaurant and fashion brand were launching their collaboration, which includes restaurant design details from Boss brand like towels, pergolas and staff uniforms and a few specialty cocktails including the 'Berrettini Martini' and 'Overhead Smash'. The dinner also celebrated Berrettini's Boss capsule collection of tennis essentials and collaboration shoes with Asics, as well as the start of The Open. Berrettini will play his first-round match against French player Ugo Humbert on Tuesday.
