Milan fashion week spring/summer 2023: highlights — in pictures
Functional utility alongside femininity piqued Kim Jones' imagination for her show, "because Fendi women are strong with full lives." Loosely based on the aesthetic of the unwavering mood of the moment, Y2K champagne satin cargo pants, neoprene tank tops, briefs with mesh overlays and rubber wedges were countered by a full kimono tailoring with obi sashes that were a luxurious carryover from her couture collection. Also reappearing, a floral print designed in 2000 for the house by its predecessor, the late Karl Lagerfeld, is blooming everywhere.
