FILM REVIEW: "Yahoo +", poor representation of the vices of society

With the growing number of internet crimes in Nigeria, it seems fitting that Nollywood producers create films that enlighten viewers on refraining from committing such fraudulent acts.
Unfortunately, when creating a film like this, the message gets lost in translation. This can be attributed to the "noise" embedded in the film. And by noise, we refer to things like poor cinematography, lackluster acting, and a mediocre script.
Yahoo Plus tries to reorient viewers, especially young people, on the need to work hard and not depend on Yahoo (Advance Fee Fraud) as a means to success. Despite its vital message, Yahoo+ makes sitting still for an hour and a few minutes slightly unbearable. It reminds viewers of the many Nollywood movies with good concepts poorly executed.
This 2022 film can easily describe what happens when Yahoo, money rituals, organ trafficking and prostitution meet at a messy crossroads.
Positively, the film optimizes its budget and has several scenes that seem well thought out and unforgettable.
The parcelA young woman, Kamso, in order to send money to her boyfriend, asks to borrow money from her friend. Her friend, who is a prostitute, gives her a condition to escort her to work that night. Initially refusing, she accepts.
The ladies headed to the location. Upon arriving, Kamso realizes that her boyfriend, Abacha, is one of the two boys. Heartbroken, she locks herself in the bedroom.
While waiting for the, we see Abacha and his friend, Ose, interacting. We are informed that they intended to use prostitutes for rituals to sponsor their trip to Hong Kong. Due to the new development, Abacha refuses but receives a call from their boss, Mansa, who threatens his family.
Abacha informs Kamso of their true intentions before drugging her. In a turn of events, she wakes up and punches him. Unfortunately, she is soon caught and tied up with her friend, who is already sleeping.
As the boys discuss their plans, Abacha begs them to release the girls. Hours pass and Abacha finds the courage to attack Ose, which backfires. Later, he is tied up.
A man arrives and tells Ose that he is here to take the body parts of the women for the rituals. OSE is confused because of this because he assumed they were going to...
