My wife makes it easy for me to be royalty – Oluwo

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, said on Friday that his wife, Firdaus, made it easy for him to become king.

The monarch made this known on his Instagram page while celebrating his wife's birthday.

Sharing photos of himself and his wife, the traditional ruler of Osun State showered his wife with praise, saying they shared the strongest bond.

He wrote, "Happy Birthday to someone very dear to me and my better half. Long live healthy and wealthy. Love you so much forever.

"May we celebrate more of our beautiful lives together. You compliment me, my love! Ever since you came into my life, you have made royalty a 'walk in the park' for me through grace of Olodumare (God) who brought a "true queen" into my life!

“You are invaluable. We are the best team; a partnership like no other with the strongest bond. You are always there for me and I will always be there for you.

“The best part of my day is waking up next to you every morning. I just want you to know how much I appreciate you and appreciate you for all you do for us. I love you so much my Beautiful Queen Firdaus.”

In response, the Queen took to the comments section to thank her husband for the wishes and prayers.

She wrote: "Thank you very much my king. May Allah continue to bless you and protect you in good health. I love you so much."
