NDLEA recruits 2,428 people

The National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has recruited 2,428 narcotics officers, who are expected to begin training from July 27.

A statement from the agency's Director, Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, on Sunday in Abuja said the names of the successful candidates had been placed on the agency's website.

Mr. Babafemi said those recruited for the basic narcotics officer cadet training should go to the NDLEA Academy in Jos for their training.

He added that narcotics officers and assistants would be trained at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) Peace and Disaster Management College in Katsina.

He explained that all successful candidates must report for training at their respective designated centers based on their groupings on the dates assigned to their groups.
