NES 2022: Experts discuss challenges and opportunities for women's economic empowerment (LIVE UPDATE)

The Nigerian Economic Society is organizing this year's conference in Kano, North West Nigeria on the theme Fiscal Sustainability and Policy Response for Economic Recovery in Nigeria.

Organizers said the theme was chosen to reflect Nigeria's current macroeconomic and fiscal challenges. It aims to address cross-cutting and specific issues in the government's policy response to the challenge of fiscal sustainability.

Contributors will discuss “Monitoring, Analyzing and Calculating the Impact of Government, Private and Donor Investments in Women’s Economic Empowerment in Nigeria – The Challenge of Data Reliability and Methodology macroeconomic".

Supported by the Development Research and Projects Center (dRPC), PREMIUM TIMES will provide live updates from the women's economic empowerment discussion scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.

9:30 a.m.: The moderator introduces himself. He is Bala Kofar-Mata. He said panel members will discuss partnerships for women in economic development.
