Nicki Minaj Admits Mistake Fueled Pregnancy Buzz, "I Said It Wrong"

Nicki Minaj says she was just trying to be funny...and instead made all her fans think she was pregnant again. Spoiler alert -- she isn't.

Here's how it all went down...before Nicki hit the stage at London's Wireless Festival, she went live on Instagram for a little pre-show chat with the Barbz. When one of them asked if she and Kenneth Petty were expecting their second baby, she immediately replied, "I'm not fat guys, I'm pregnant. Sorry"...and then she rolled her eyes .

Of course, her screen was immediately flooded with congratulations and that's when Nicki realized..."Oh wait. Did I say it wrong? I'm sorry. I think I did. I said wrong. I meant, I'm not pregnant. I'm fat."

Hmmm...we think Nicki is too good at social media for that kind of bullshit. It feels like a troll job, but funny. Nicki and her husband welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in September 2020 - and they still haven't revealed his name.

As we reported, Kenneth is going to have plenty of face-to-face time with the child, as he was sentenced to a year of house arrest – in their luxurious Calabasas mansion – for not having registered in California as a sex offender.
