#NigeriaDecides2023: INEC overturns polling station result in Kwara following ballot box theft
Kwara State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Attahiru Madami, says Tsaragi's 10 voting unit result will be overturned following a case of ballot boxes being stolen by thugs Saturday.
Tsaragi is in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Madami told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday that the cancellation was in line with the rules governing the conduct of elections.
He attributed the late arrival of INEC staff and equipment to parts of Ilorin West and the late onset of voting problems at the Registration Center (RAC).
"It took us until 11 a.m. before we finished distributing the logistics and I knew right away that we were starting late. I extended the voting time until the last person in line has voted,” he said.

Results of the presidential election are still collated from Nigeria's constituencies and local governments by the electoral commission, INEC.
Nigerians voted on Saturday to elect a new president and members of the national parliament.
Voting will continue in parts of the country today, however.
