The NNPP suffers another setback as Niger's deputy governor. the candidate resigns
The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) Presidential candidate, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, suffered another setback when the candidate for the party's Deputy Governor position in Niger State, Mr John Bahago, resigned from the party.
DAILY POST recalls that the Kaduna State Party Chairman resigned his appointment on Thursday as he believes the party has gone off the rails.
Kure at a press conference in Kaduna on Thursday noted that although he still holds Kwankwaso in high regard, he was no longer interested in being a party member because the party "is not entirely on the ground in Kaduna State."
