No serious leader will rest - Peter Obi hits Tinubu
Peter Obi of the Labor Party said that no serious leader would go to rest (holiday) in Nigeria.
Obi, the LP's presidential candidate in the February 25 election, revealed this on Monday when he visited the Muslim community at Akwa Central Mosque for Eid-ul-Fitr.
He insisted that Nigerians should not be divided on the basis of religion or politics.
He said, "People who want to rest can go relax. I don't rest because I have to visit schools and hospitals and interact with people.
“No serious leader will rest in Nigeria. We will continue to visit as many people as possible and support them as best we can.”
Recall that President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Nigeria on Monday after more than a month's vacation in Europe.
Meanwhile, Tinubu, in his speech after his return, said he was ready to kick things off.
