NPFL: IMC scales N100m at 2022/23 champions
The 2022/23 Nigerian Professional Football League winners will smile home with a whopping N100m.
Interim Management Committee (IMC) Chairman Gbenga Elegbeleye made the statement during an interview on Kennis Radio on Monday.
"They promised to give last season's winner (Rivers United) 50 million naira which they haven't paid so far," Elegbeleye said.
"We don't want to promise what we can't do, the winner of the 2022/2023 season will receive 100 million naira as cash prizes."
The draw ceremony for the new campaign will take place on Wednesday at the Sandralia Hotel, Abuja.
The 2022/23 campaign will start on January 8, 2023.
