Ogun: So-Safe arrests a man for stealing a motorcycle

So-Safe Corps officers in Ogun State arrested a 25-year-old man, Abdulrasheed Yinusa, for allegedly stealing a motorbike, otherwise known as an okada.

Yinusa, a resident of Ifetedo, Ogosa, Ajegunle in Ipokia Local Government Area of ​​Ogun, allegedly stole the red Bajaj motorcycle, marked AAA 648 QL, in the same Ogosa.

A statement from the office of the State Commander of the So-Safe Corps, Mr. Soji Ganzallo, said the motorcycle was reported stolen from the Ipokia Area Command of the Corps on November 16, 2022.

Ganzallo noted that the Area Command Corps Task Force was immediately ordered to intervene in the case and ensure the culprit was brought to justice.

According to him, after frantic efforts of the body, the stolen motorbike was located at Atan-Iju in Ado-Odo/Ota local government, where the suspect was arrested with the stolen motorbike.

“After the interrogation, the suspect confessed without torture that he committed the act intentionally,” the commander said.

He added that the recovered motorcycle had been transferred to the Nigerian Police Divisional Headquarters, Ipokia for further investigation and possible prosecution of the suspect.
