Ogun will host the next NSF in 2024
Ogun State has been confirmed as the next host of the biennial National Sports Festival in 2024.
This was announced during the closing ceremony of the 21st edition of the festival, which ended on Saturday in Asaba, the capital of Delta State.
Sports Minister Sunday Dare, who represented the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Retired) at the closing ceremony, said Ogun came out on top after the rigorous selection process.
“I am pleased this evening (Saturday) to announce the next hosts of the 2024 edition of the National Sports Day; the next host of the 22nd National Sports Festival is Ogun State,” Dare announced.
"For the first time we have a finalist - the finalist in the auction is Oyo State."
