Osun 2022: “Vote APC, vote the future you want” – Tinubu
All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Bola Tinubu on Tuesday urged voters in Osun State to vote for the party in Saturday's gubernatorial elections.
Mr. Tinubu spoke at a rally in Osogbo to support the re-election of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
“Come and vote massively for APC. If you want to vote, remember the future of your children and students, vote for the better future you want. Mr. Tinubu added.
The former governor of Lagos took the opportunity to blow his trumpet, saying he was the most qualified presidential candidate.
He also mocked the Labor Party, calling them "workers".
"They're Labor, they called themselves workers, can't you see anything that can turn you into a worker. Don't follow them in whatever they tell you to do."
He advised the electorate to avoid the party and its candidates.
Others at the rally include Mr. Tinubu's running mate, Kashim Shettima; Senate President Ahmad Lawan; Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State; Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State; Rotimi Akeredolu from Ondo State; Nasir El-Rufai from Kaduna State; and Babagana Zulum from Borno State.

In his speech, Mr. Oyetola called on the electorate to avoid any form of electoral fraud.
"Don't sell your votes to anyone, don't be fooled by their plans when they come to you, don't sell your votes."
The Osun gubernatorial election takes place on July 16.
