"After an investigation by the intelligence services, the arrest of the motorcyclist was made. He revealed the forest where the victim was killed and thrown.

“The DPO led a team of police and vigilantes to search for the victim in the Akisa Ora-Igbomina forest where the victim has a farm, with Sunday Johnson (motorcyclist), the suspect at the location where the victim was previously found decomposes."

The statement revealed that Sunday Johnson's arrest led to the arrest of three other suspects who have already confessed to involvement in the victim's abduction and murder.

While explaining that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for investigation, Opalola said that arrangements are underway to move the decomposing body of Chief Asaolu to the morgue the next day. closer.
