PDP and NNPP members abandon parties for APC in Yobe

Some members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State on Friday.

Mamman Mohammed, Director General of Press and Media to Governor Mai Mala Buni, revealed this in a statement made available to journalists in Damaturu, the state capital.

Buni, while receiving the newcomers, instructed them to work for the unity of the party and its success in 2023.

The governor was joined by the chairman of the state APC, Alhaji Muhammadu Gadaka, and his special adviser for political affairs, Alhaji Aji Bularafa.
