Football legend Pelé's health has deteriorated... with local doctors announcing that his cancer has progressed, and he is currently receiving 'intensive care' for kidney and heart problems, according to the report. AP.
The 82-year-old's daughter shared an update on Tuesday... saying the family will be staying with Pele at Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo over the Christmas holidays "for various reasons."< /p>
"We thank you, as always, for all the love you show us here in Brazil as well as around the world!" said Kely Nascimento on Instagram.
"Your love for him, your stories and your prayers are a HUGE comfort as we know we are not alone."

Kely says the family will make the holiday even more special...and plans to celebrate at the hospital.
"We'll turn this room into a Sambódromo (just kidding), we'll even make caipirinhas (just kidding!)."
