Austrian national railway company ÖBB has unveiled a new 'pod' style cabin for single travelers on its new generation of Nightjet sleeper trains.

Described as "innovative cocoons", these new "mini-cabins" feature single berths and pretty much "everything you need for a night journey without being disturbed.

As shown in the photographs, these “ultra-modern” cabins have a mobile folding table with integrated mirror, coat hooks, a floor lamp reading as well as adjacent lockers. for hand luggage and shoes.

Single travelers will be able to enjoy the new pods from December 10, when the new Nightjet trains - featuring "modern design, more privacy and more comfort” – take the rails. The first trips are planned on the Vienna-Hamburg and Innsbruck-Hamburg lines.
