Police Arrest Suspected Bandit, Arms Suppliers in Kaduna

A suspected bandit was apprehended on the outskirts of Kaduna by officers from Kaduna State Police Command.

DAILY POST reports that officers intercepted a vehicle loaded with arms and ammunition heading towards Katsina State.

DSP Muhammed Jalige, the Spokesperson for the State Command, in a statement released on Sunday evening, explained that in its continued and consistent commitment to tackling violent crimes in Kaduna State, the State Command police had "on October 2, 2022, at approximately 1:30 p.m., while acting on actionable intelligence around Sabon Gaya along Kaduna Abuja Road, intercepted a Sharon vehicle with Reg. The statement added: "After a thorough search of said vehicle, the following items were recovered; (1) 1 no.
