Police arrest woman for kidnapping 3 children

The Borno State Police Command paraded 55 suspects and a woman arrested for allegedly abducting three children – two boys and a girl.

State Commissioner of Police, CP Abdu Umar, who revealed this in Maiduguri during a press briefing on Thursday, said the suspect is a 46-year-old Ensa Esewa, who between the August 5 and 6, abducted 7-year-old Mustapha Abdullahi, 5-year-old Abdullahi Mustapha and 3-year-old Hajara Alassan.

According to CP Umar, the suspect abducted the three children with the intention of taking them to the residence of a Lady B in Lagos who hired her with the sum of five hundred thousand naira.

CP Umar also said that the command managed to arrest 59 other criminals in different places in the state.
