Rage Against the Machine bassist Tim Commerford has revealed he was diagnosed with prostate cancer ahead of the band's spring reunion tour.
The musician told Spin magazine that he had his prostate removed two months before the start of the tour.
"The doctors said I wasn't going to be ready. It was brutal. I'll be on stage staring at my amp in tears. Then you just... turn around and suck it up."
Commerford, 54, added that he had just taken a test that " is back to zero".
