Reality TV star Rico Swavey has died
Ex-Big Brother Naija star Patrick Fakoya, known as Rico Swavey, has died.
Tobi Bakre, his close friend, announced his death on Instagram on Thursday morning.
Tobi, who shared a photo of himself and Rico on his Twitter page, wrote. “We lost him. But thank you very much, guys. God knows best".
The writing on the photo read, "This is how I will always remember you, rest in peace brother."
Rick Swavey was involved in a horrific car accident on Tuesday that left him hospitalized and in critical condition.

Friends and celebrities have opened a fundraiser for ex-Big Brother Naija Season 3 star.
Tobi Bakre, former roommate of BBNaija, asked on his Twitter page for help for Rico.
The sharing of a photo of hospitalized Rico Swavey on Instagram noted that the accident victim was placed on life support.
He tweeted: "Please help save Rico. He was in a serious car accident; we need to keep him on life support and continue to pay rising medical bills while we pray for the miracle of God".
"We can't do this alone. Please click the link to donate at ricoswavey.com," he added.
Reality TV star Alex Asogwa, aka Alex Unusual, who announced the news of the accident on his Twitter page on Tuesday, also appealed for donations on his Instagram page.
She wrote: "Anything you can do to support them will be greatly appreciated as he is on life support and fighting for his life. Please @ricoswavey_official needs our help #ricoswavey #prayforricoswavey ."
Rico's management confirmed Swavey's current status on their Twitter page "Hello everyone, Rico Swavey is unwilling to handle his social activities at this time as he has been involved in a horrific accident and is currently on life support. While his condition is critical and the doctors are on him, we ask for your support and prayers,” his leadership wrote.
Other celebrities and media personalities also joined in soliciting support for Rico on various social media platforms. Prayers were also organized on Twitter spaces for the star.
