Ronaldo: Owen Hargreaves gives reason Ten Hag punished Marcus Rashford
Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has noted that manager Erik ten Hag had to discipline Marcus Rashford to show he is consistent with his disciplinary action at the club.
Cristiano Ronaldo suffered a similar sentence under Ten Hag before his contract was finally terminated in November.
Rashford did not start for Manchester United against Wolves on Saturday, with the England star falling to the bench.

Rashford, who is Manchester United's top scorer this season, had to come off the bench in the second half to score the game's only goal.
"You know, with everything that happened with Cristiano Ronaldo, you have to stay consistent. I think the message here is not personal against Rashford," Hargreaves told Premier League Production.
