Rosetta Getty RTW Spring 2023

As always, artist collaborations are at the heart of Rosetta Getty. For spring, Getty tapped Kristie Muller – a photographer known for blurring the line between reality and manipulation – to create a short film that inspired the presentation of the collection itself. "Kristie's unconventional photographic aesthetic has permeated the way we present the collection," Getty explained during a preview, influencing not only the clothing but also the marketing, producing images that will be displayed "wildly." in New York City and a film that will play on TikTok and outside of Getty's TriBeCa studio.

This sense of duality was also visible throughout the collection with subtle contrasts, soft tailoring - an essential category for the brand - mixed with flowing silhouettes with wraparound and binding details, slipdresses and the addition of more color. "It's fresh and we're mixing it up in an interesting way," Getty said of her newfound interest in brighter hues. Example: a yellow swimsuit swimsuit with twist detail or a loose neon green suit jacket over wide leg pants and a bra.

Getty and his team are focusing on fabrications, bringing back a neoprene fabric that resonated last season , now in a sweetheart neckline top, a piece that can easily go from day to night. Like many designers, Getty wants her pieces to brighten up a wardrobe with a few ways to style it; for example, a jacket with ties that can be worn in several ways, or one of her languorous babydolls.

Accessories are simple, with an updated version of her platform sandal in black or white. She paired it with golden chains and chunky hoop earrings, so many pieces that complete the ease of her ready-to-wear.
