Russian anti-war rapper in Ukraine dies by suicide after being drafted
A Russian rapper who opposed his country's invasion of Ukraine jumped from a high-rise building to his death...after being drafted to fight in the war.
Rapper Walkie, 27, posted a video in which he said, "If you watch this video then I'm not alive. I can't take the sin of murder on my soul and I don't don't do it. I'm not willing to kill for ideals."

Walkie continued..."I chose to go down in history forever. As a man who didn't support what was happening, I'm not ready to take up arms and fight. kill mine."
He had served in the Russian army before and despised that experience. This time he tried to get a reprieve for mental illness, but it didn't work out with the Russian military.
Walkie was 27.
