Ruth Madoc: Hundreds at Hi-De-Hi! Neath star funeral

Hundreds of mourners paid their last respects at the funeral of Hi-De-Hi! star Ruth Madoc.
The 79-year-old actress died in December after a fall forced her to pull out of performing Aladdin at the Princess Theater in Torquay, Devon.
The service took place at St David's Church in Neath.
She is became a household name as Gladys Pugh on the summer camp sitcom Hi-De-Hi!, and her co-star Su Pollard said, "It was wonderful service, it reflected Ruth."
She remembered a friend who "liked to laugh".
"We all laughed time working together, but the service also embodied her Welsh heritage that she was so proud of," Ms Pollard said.
