Sam Fender has announced that he will be performing a concert at Newcastle United's St James' Park in June next year.
The North Shields Magpies fan said it would fulfill a "childhood dream" having "always joked" about playing at the stadium.
The The 28-year-old had teased fans about a 'big announcement' which many believe would be a concert in Newcastle.
The concert will take place on June 9 and tickets will go on sale from September 9.
