Serie A: Roma legend Totti calls Osimhen Italy's best striker
AS Roma legend Francesco Totti has named Victor Osimhen as the number one striker in the Italian top flight.
Osimhen has underlined his reputation as one of Serie A's best strikers with his consistent performances for Napoli this season.
The 23-year-old is currently the league's top scorer with nine goals in 11 outings.
"The strongest striker in Serie A? Osimhen is in my opinion," Totti told TuttoNapoli.
"First because he scores, when he wins the ball he scores. And then he makes himself available for the team. He is always in the right place at the right time."
The striker helped Napoli push for a first Scudetto since 1986.
Luciano Spalletti's side enjoyed an eight-point lead over second-placed AC Milan.
It remains to be seen if Osimhen will stay at Napoli beyond next summer with a number of European clubs around him.
