Diego Simeone has overtaken Luis Aragones for the most La Liga appearances managed as Atletico Madrid head coach.
Sunday's El Derbi with Real Madrid was Simeone's 408th league game in charge of Atletico since joining from Racing Club in December 2011.
Simeone has won 247 of his previous 407 games before the clash with city rivals Real, 95 of which ended in a draw and 64 in a loss.
The Argentine has won eight trophies in his nearly 11 years in the Spanish capital, including La Liga in the 2013-14 and 2020-21 campaigns.
Long-serving midfielder Koke also achieved a milestone on Sunday when he equaled Adelardo Rodriguez for the most appearances by any player in Atletico history.
The Spanish international, who has only ever represented Los Rojiblancos, started against Madrid on his 553rd appearance in all competitions.
Koke was among eight trophies won under Simeone, while helping the club reach two Champions League finals.
