He said, "Me and Soludo came on extended. He's my brother, he's my buddy, and he's the governor of my nation. And as governor of my country, I pray that he does well in all of this and we should help him. This can be very important and crucial.

"He has his own critics. His opinion will not be the opinion of the people of Anambra State; it may not be the opinion of the South East or the Nigerians but I admire his opinion because it is his opinion and he is a respected man or woman as far as I am involved and he is my governor.

On claims that the funds he invested in the region while governing Anambra are in fact insignificant, Obi said the investment is one of the maximum sources of sales for the state.

He said, "Whoever they pronounce is worthless, we've invested $3.5 billion in International Breweries.

International breweries are what you might call an international organization. It is part of AB beer which is the largest brewer in the world.

"At the time I became Governor, we had a policy that any manufacturing unit, any foreign investor wishing to invest in Anambra State, we could purchase 10 per cent of the company, and under the condition, we can point out a settlement with him that he could give paintings of Anambra at minimum to not less than forty according to one hundred of the people.

"They built a facility in Anambra State. That facility is there today using, both in a roundabout way, over 10,000 Anambrarians. They were l one of the best-selling assets in the country.

''Even some of their waste, the biggest piggery we have in Anambra State collects it. There is so much the company has accomplished in terms of supporting the state, the carriers, this, that and all.

"The proportion has become both offered at N50. Today the percentage is around N5 or more and maybe it has become what was mentioned. But in standard, what I have left is less than 5 cents, of this particular investment is much less than five cents.

"If you calculate what I left, I left 75 billion naira. If you cross and save the greenbacks today, even at 600, it's N160bn, more N60bn of naira is N210bn Even if this one is wasted 3 instances of what I invested are still there When you spread your investment a few will cross a few will go down but usually the employer is still there; the company continues to function properly, it is still part of an international chain and wholeness.

"I needed to explain it not because I defend the remark through my brother. My brother is my brother and remains my brother; we are very close and I continue to pray for him. Of different things that I have not accomplished, God has given him the opportunity to do it and to succeed. In governance, you do not end. People nevertheless do governance in America. Where you prevent, other people will hold on from there.

"I'm not coming back. He's the governor of my kingdom, he's my elder brother, he's all the smarter because he's a teacher; I'm a merchant. He knows it more, so he may be able to do things higher than me. I made my little character as a drug dealer. Now that the professor is here, he will do his as a professor. The faculties that I didn't cover it, he will cover it. That's how the authorities do it."

“Therefore, it is easy to say in reality without any concern for contradiction that Soludo rides on the legacy of Peter Obi. If it wasn't for Peter Obi building the APGA through his overall performance by instilling self-confidence in people to have confidence in celebrating the anniversary, Soludo might not have had the platform on which he could have become governor.

“His remark was born out of self-centeredness and desperation. It was born out of envy and jealousy. I mean for anyone who has been a governor of CBN, who must know the significance of an investment that has been acclaimed with the help of other governors to be one of the finest he has completed in the of Anambra State. ''

Also commenting on the matter, Obi's media assistant, Emeka Obasi, said his fundamental had no quarrel with Soludo, as speculated in a few quarters.
