Strictly Come Dancing's new professional dancers are ready to dazzle audiences viewers with a special performance to kick-off the show later this month.

New additions Vito Coppola, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley and Michelle Tsiakkas will debut in a cinematic routine alongside the returning cast.

It will be part of the launch show airing on BBC One on September 17.

The 20th round of the competition will have the largest line-up of professional dancers in history.

Fifteen celebrities will compete for the sparkle ball this year, including presenters Kym Marsh and Helen Skelton, former footballer Tony Adams, Paralympic gold medalist Ellie Simonds, EastEnders actor James Bye and singer Matt Goss.

It is unknown which dancer each of the celebrity contestants will be paired with, but Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Chief Judge Shirley Ballas will all return to the Strictly Jury this year.

They will be joined again by Anton Du Beke, who has now taken over for Bruno Tonioli after replacing him in the 2021 series.
