Sylvester Stallone says Dog wasn't the reason Jennifer Flavin filed for divorce

Sylvester Stallone tells TMZ his Rottweiler Dwight wasn't the reason Jennifer Flavin called for an end to their 25-year marriage...he says they just went their separate ways and he still has love for her.

TMZ reported that sources directly connected to the couple told us that Sly wanted to get a Rottweiler to protect the family, but that Jennifer didn't want the dog, and it sparked an argument that brought others to light. issues that led to Flavin's complaint.

Sly says that's not true...they had issues on how to take care of the dog, considering they travel coast to coast with homes in L.A. and Palm Beach, and often does film projects, but adds, "We didn't end the relationship over such a trivial argument."

The 'Rocky' star said, "We went in different directions," adding, "I have the utmost respect for Jennifer. I will always love her. She's an amazing woman. is the nicest human being I have ever met."
