Tai Tuivasa is feeling excited, and that can only mean one thing...it's time to fight!!

TMZ Sports spoke with the 29-year-old #3-ranked UFC heavyweight ahead of his fall at UFC Fight Night with #1-ranked challenger Ciryl Gane... in Paris, where Bon Gamin lives and trains. We asked Tai what he should watch out for when fighting CG.

“Ciryl is a great athlete. A great competitor. A very good fighter. do what Bam Bam does and come fight me, and I'll bring the fire for sure."

FYI, Gane just suffered a loss to Francis Ngannou in January (unanimous decision). It was the first defeat of his career (10-1). Tai has won his last 5...including victories over Derrick Lewis, Greg Hardy and Stefan Struve.

Anyone who watched the Tuivasa fight knows win or lose (there were far more wins than losses), they're going to drop bombs and someone's going to sleep. That's why he's a fan favorite.

On September 3, he enters enemy territory... but you already know that Tai isn't worried at all.

"I see it as an opportunity to gain more fans from another country and another place. So yes, I'm excited. I definitely came to find new French fans."
