Texas Hooters attacked by youths, allegedly for candy bars

A Hooters in Texas has been under intense attack this week, with a group of young people going crazy for the establishment and their customers... allegedly over candy.

Video of the altercation first surfaced on Thursday - when the incident appears to have happened - but started making the rounds over the weekend...and the footage is absolutely insane. You see a group of young guys, some of them shirtless, losing their minds.

They beat up what appear to be customers in the lobby of the restaurant... crying over one particular guy who falls to his knees. Some of the employees - including at least one Hooters girl - also seem to be drawn into the action... with complete mayhem unfolding.

A person filming says something to the effect of..."all chocolate", and you even see a chocolate bar on the floor at one point. Welp, turns out that's exactly what would have started all of this...according to a Hooters executive who spoke to TMZ.

We're told these guys are door-to-door salesmen and came in that night to try and peddle their wares, only to be turned away due to a no-solicitation policy enforced by Hooters - this which is apparently what drove them off.

There were no further details provided, but the Hooters manager says they have resumed operations and a criminal investigation is ongoing.
