The big Eurovision party: Rylan will bring in 2023 with the stars of the song contest

What do you get when you put 15 Eurovision winners on one stage? A big party, that's what.
Six months before Liverpool hosted the song contest on behalf of Ukraine, around 15,000 fans turned out at the Ziggo Amsterdam Dome to see artists from past competitions perform.
As part of its New Year's line-up, BBC One presents Het Grote Songfestivalfeest - renamed The Big Eurovision Party for UK viewers and hosted by Rylan.
Granted some songs have stood the test of time more than others, but the hit Loreen's Euphoria in 2012 had crowds bouncing 10 years later.
"It was needed then, and it's needed now", she told BBC News backstage at the concert.
"Euphoria has a kind of depth that touches the people on a real level," she says. "Some songs just connect."
The 39-year-old is often credited with changing the direction of Eurovision after its success, and she hopes represent Sweden again in 2023.
