The Kering Foundation at the pool, Milly partners with the Surf Lodge

BACK IN THE POOL: The Kering Foundation returns to The Pool for the second annual Caring for Women dinner at New York. Scheduled for September 12, the sold-out event marks the 15th anniversary of the foundation's work to end violence against women. The theme of the evening is "unity is strength".

This year's event will be hosted by journalist Lisa Ling and co-chaired by Salma Hayek Pinault, François -Henri Pinault, Cindy Sherman, Christy Turlington Burns, Olivia Wilde, Oprah Winfrey, Zoë Kravitz and Malala Yousafzai. Proceeds will go to organizations that fight gender-based violence, including the Malala Fund, the National Network to End Domestic Violence, and the New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault.

"Despite worrying setbacks in women's rights around the world, encouraging progress has been made to address violence against women over the past 15 years, and we must continue to harness the power of collaboration and solidarity to ensure that all women can lead fulfilling lives free from violence,” said François-Henri Pinault, President of the Kering Foundation.

MILLY HITS THE SURF: For the first time, Milly will present a selection from her August Du 1-8 at The Surf Lodge Boutique in Montauk, New York.

The collection, chosen by Milly and The Surf Lodge founder and creative director, Jayma Cardoso, will consist of a variety of the brand's summer pieces in iconic prints, colors and technical fabrics. The brand's Cabana collection of swimwear and beachwear as well as Hamptons-ready dresses will be on offer.
