The Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Southeast has corrected a media misinformation that the BAT Campaign Council has adjusted its campaign program dates in the Southeast because he fled the countryside on Monday in the southeast because of the Sit-at Home practice in the areas.

The campaign council said that in the first place it was not necessary to come into disagreement with a group or individuals whose choices are meant to be respected, but it has adjusted its timeline accordingly preparation for the upcoming Christmas season that people in the South East and other parts of Nigeria hold dear and dear to their religion.

Onoh said infrastructure and industries are what the Southeast needs, noting that one of the drivers of the current youth unrest in the region was the lack of jobs.

“The youth of the Southeast are industrious, with abundant energy for innovation. Reviving the Southeast as an industrial hub will eviscerate the army of disaffected. will result in an unprecedented improvement in the quality of life of citizens.

“I think the Southeast agenda should be focused on infrastructure and industries, and Asiwaju has presented an action plan to that effect. His plan for the Southeast is unambiguous and of political chicanery. I suggest to the Southeast to follow the path and hold it by the document.

"The South East should work hard to overcome sentimental, ethnic and emotional politics; they must understand the benefits of political diversity, equity and inclusion in government, which will lead to increased overall political effectiveness in the region. Their political civic participation in 2023 will lead to meaningful social change, further stabilizing our democratic processes. So this is our opportunity to create a diverse political portfolio of support. In other words, the southeast shouldn't put all its eggs in one basket.
