Forget the tuxedos and red carpets, Tom Brady was more in the tee boxes and fairways on Monday ... dodging a spot at the Met Gala - an event he regularly attends with Gisele Bündchen - for a round of golf.
The newly retired quarterback was spotted about 4,000 miles from his ex-wife and the lights of New York's famed fashion event...doing some hacks at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles.

Brady didn't seem too concerned about missing the show he's been on multiple times over the past decade...because he seemed ultra focused on improving his golf game.
The former Buccaneers and Patriots star was seen hitting his wedges, irons and driver while riding in a golf cart with his pal.
