Transfer: Aguero talks about the arrival of Enzo Fernandez at the EPL club

Former Barcelona and Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has predicted that Benfica's Enzo Fernandez will complete his Premier League spell amid interest from Chelsea.

Fernandez is reportedly pushing to join Chelsea before the January transfer window closes on Tuesday night.

Chelsea have been locked in negotiations with Benfica for a few weeks but have so far been unable to reach a deal for the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner in Argentina.

However, Aguero is backing Fernandez to make a late move to the Premier League or Spanish La Liga, adding that the 22-year-old can play in the top leagues.

"Enzo has proven he can play in the best leagues in the world," Aguero told Stake.com.
