Transfer: Former Flying Eagles winger Sor completes transfer to Genk

Former Flying Eagles winger Yira Sor has joined forces with Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk on a permanent transfer.

Sor has joined the Smurfs of Czech champions, Slavia Prague.

The 22-year-old has signed a contract with Wouter Wracken's side until 2027.

Genk reportedly parted ways with €6.5m to sign the player.

Sor is now Genk's second most expensive signing, overtaking compatriot Paul Onuachu who arrived from FC Midtjylland for €6m in 2019.

The speedy winger will undergo an individual training program before joining his teammates after the New Year.

Sor caught the eye after starting for Slavia Prague in the UEFA Conference League last season, scoring seven times in seven appearances.

He scored 11 times and provided nine assists in 41 appearances in all competitions for the Red and Whites last term.
