ARSENAL READY TO GROW FOR BRIGHTON STARWith less than five days to go until the January transfer window, we're waiting to see if any club make Brighton an offer they can't refuse...

Chelsea and Liverpool are keen on Moises Caicedo, with both mid-table sides clamoring for reinforcements in central midfield. But the latest report suggests Arsenal could make a decisive move before next Tuesday night.

Apparently the Gunners will make a bid of around £75million for the Ecuadorian star. It's the word according to Fichajes at least. Brighton are unwilling to sell at mid-season but such a huge offer could even tempt Tony Bloom, despite reports suggesting the Seagulls have let it be known they will now only sell for something closer to £100m sterling.

INTER DEFENDER IN TALKS WITH MAN UTD, CHELSEA, NEWCASTLEManchester United are unlikely to do much in the coming days. Their focus already seems to be on the summer window - more in what follows - but it's not impossible that they could move for a right-back before the deadline.

The Red Devils have long been interested in Denzel Dumfries and, according to Calciomercato, the Dutch defender's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has traveled to England to discuss deals.

United aren't the only club in talks with Pimenta. Newcastle are also said to be keen, although Kieran Trippier is firmly established as a first-choice right-back on Tyneside, while Chelsea have also been linked with Dumfries. But they remain especially attracted by the Lyon teenager Malo Gusto.

If Dumfries have to move before the end of the current window, Inter Milan would expect a fee of around £35m.

UNITED STAY STRONG ON NAPOLI HIT-MANUnited may be more likely to make do with what they've been through until the end of the season while the Glazers wait for someone to buy the club. Either way, the Red Devils are linked with summer swoops for centre-forwards.

At the top of their list of targets remains Victor Osimhen. It has been said in recent days that United have cooled their interest in the 23-year-old, but Gianluca Di Marzio believes Erik ten Hag still wants the striker.

Napoli are likely to be open to - significant - offers for Osimhen this summer and United are reportedly ready to shell out a club-record fee in the region of £105million for the 23-year-old. They are not the only club to like Osimhen. Real Madrid are also known for sniffling.
