Twenty One Pilots vocalist Tyler Joseph slips on a drum stick and falls on stage

Twenty One Pilots frontman Tyler Joseph took a bad fall in the middle of the band's concert... he really damaged his leg from a dishonest drumstick.

The band hit the stage in Cleveland, OH on Tuesday night...the crowd was as excited as Tyler and company. were throughout the night, especially when the singer jumped from a high platform to run across the stage -- big mistake.

You can see Tyler slipping and crashing on an elevated part of the stage...while he seemed to be recovering quickly, things looked worse after the show was over.

The band posted a behind-the-scenes explanation, with drummer Josh Dun saying he dropped one of his sticks onstage, which he rarely does.

He says it was unfortunately Tyler who found the stick with his foot, twisting his ankle in the process and cutting his knee.

Josh felt pretty bad for leaving his stick there, but don't worry, Tyler - dinner is for him!!!

Most fans online were worried about Tyler's fall...but some couldn't miss the chance to turn the fall into a meme.
