Eurovision 2023: the National Lottery will launch free tickets for the evenings

Tickets for the most s big launch concert for the Eurovision celebrations in Liverpool will be free, the National Lottery has announced.

The 30,000-seat show will be held outside the St George's Hall on May 7, ahead of the song contest semi-final on May 9.

Tickets for the contest itself sold out within 90 minutes after huge demand.

The National Lottery promised "top-level performance", but said the lineup was a "closely guarded secret".

The band said he was working with Culture Liverpool to 'put on a fantastic show that does justice to one of the world's greatest music capitals'.

Up to 15,000 pairs of National Lottery Welcome Grand Eurovision tickets will be made available to lottery players in early April, said the spokesperson Adam Chataway.

Anyone can buy a lottery ticket before applying to count as a lottery player.

Tickets are subject to a small reservation fee, Mr. Chataway added.
