Two Popular Nollywood Actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel Reportedly Kidnapped

Two Nigerian movie stars, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel aka Agbogidi, have reportedly been kidnapped.

The development was revealed on Friday in a statement issued by the Director of Communications of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Monalisa Chinda.

According to the statement, the families of the actors raised the alarm about the whereabouts of the duo after a film production in Ozalla Town, Enugu State.

The statement adds that the incident has heightened fear among AGN members regarding the safety of actors filming across the country.

The statement reads: "Both members were suspected of having been abducted, which has heightened fear among members about the safety of actors filming in the country.

"Due to this sad development, Guild National President Ejezie Emeka Rollas has asked all actors to avoid traveling to the outskirts of cities to film unless full security coverage is available. provided to ensure their safety".

The AGN president, who also said he was shocked by this development, called on security agencies to speed up the investigation in order to save the actors unharmed.
