TV presenter Yvette Fielding, who made headlines as Blue Peter's youngest presenter, claimed she had was bullied while filming the show and almost quit.
< p class="ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10">The host, who was 18 when she joined the BBC children's TV show, said she had been "pushed over the edge" by behavior which left her a "trembling, gibbering wreck".
She added that if a young presenter faced similar conditions today, "it would have many implications."
The BBC said it would not comment on his allegations.
Fielding joined Blue Peter in 1987, moving from Stockport to London and leaving her family behind.
"I felt very alone because I was the youngest. I was considered a child - and a pain in the ass for a child," said she told the Celebrity podcast. Catch-up: Life After This Thing I Did.
"I received no training. I was not told how to present, Did not receive training. I was given advice. I was left to my own devices to continue...
