AFCON U-20: Flying Eagles host Egypt, Senegal and Mozambique in Group A

Nigeria's Flying Eagles faced a tough draw for the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ladan Bosso's team will face hosts Egypt, Senegal and Mozambique in Group A of the biennial competition.

The group matches will be played at Cairo International Stadium.

The finalists of the latest edition of the competition, the Young Cranes of Uganda, Central African Republic, South Sudan and Congo are the four teams from Group B.

Group B teams will be based in Ismaila.

Group C consists of Gambia, Tunisia, Benin Republic and Zambia.

The coastal city of Alexandria will host games in the group.

The top two teams from the three groups will qualify for the quarter-finals, while the two third-best losers will also qualify.

The four semi-finalists will represent Africa at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia.

The competition will run from February 18 to March 12.
