One of Russia's most popular singers, Alla Pugacheva, has called on Russian authorities to declare her a "foreign agent", in solidarity with her very anti-war husband Maxim Galkin.
As a showbiz star, he was called a "foreign agent" on Friday after condemning the Russian attack on Ukraine.
On social networks Pugacheva called her husband "a real, incorruptible Russian patriot, who wants... our guys to die for illusory purposes".
She has been a big star for decades.
She said the Kremlin's "illusory goals" in Ukraine "make our country an outcast and the lives of our citizens extremely difficult".
Galkin, comedian, television presenter and singer, wanted "prosperity for his homeland, peace, freedom of expression", she said added.
