US Open TV announcers mistakenly identify Dionne Warwick and refer to her as Gladys Knight

As Serena Williams continued to shock the world with her incredible play at the US Open, TV presenters showed off celebrities who had come out to support the G.O.A.T., including Dionne Warwick - the only problem - broadcasters took for Gladys Knight.< /p>
And, it was as scary as it sounds.
Mary Carillo and Chanda Rubin were behind the microphone for ESPN...when in the third game of the first set, two women appeared on screen between the points.
Chanda: I still have stars...Mary: Gladys Knight...Chanda: Gladys Knight...Mary: Hello!

The problem...wasn't Knight, it was Dionne Warwick, five-time Grammy winner and legend.
Shortly after the match, Chanda took to social media to explain what happened during the flub.
"Too bad I was initially looking at the pitch (where Aunt Gladys was in the stands) and not our program monitor which showed Ms. Dionne...the error was immediately corrected.
