Villa prepares offers for Onuachu, Chukwueze

Aston Villa will be looking to bring Paul Onuachu to the Premier League in the January transfer window.

Onuachu should be in the news again when the transfer window reopens in winter.

The Nigerian international has made headlines over the years thanks to his goalscoring prowess for Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk.

Onuachu scored 33 goals in 38 league appearances for the Smurfs two seasons ago.

The striker was also the club's top scorer last season with 21 goals in 35 league appearances.

This season he has already scored 13 goals in 14 league appearances.

The Midlands club are looking to add more firepower to their attack despite new manager Unai Emery having Ollie Watkins and Danny Ings at his disposal.

Villa is also tracking Onuachu international teammate Samuel Chukwueze.

Emery and Chukwueze worked together at Villarreal before the Spaniard returned to England a few weeks ago.

Emery is keen to reunite with the Nigeria international, who has also been courted by Chelsea and Liverpool in the past.

According to Football Insider via TMW, Aston Villa are ready to pay 40 million euros to secure the services of winger pacy.

Villarreal could be tempted to sell Chukwueze during the January transfer window.

The Yellow Submarine signed the Diamond Football Academy player for €500,000 in 2017.

The 23-year-old was reportedly close to a move to Everton last summer but negotiations stalled at crucial moments.
